Hectic..... *and a small picture overload*

.................That's the only way to describe my house at the moment. Packers came this morning and left me seeing A LOT of brown. Boxes are all over the house........which makes me realize that we have acquired way too many things since 2009 when we PCS'd to Fort Campbell. They did do us a huge favor and left the TVs hooked up for one more night. *Bless their hearts because I am not quite ready to listen to the Munchkin™ say "I'm bored!" anymore than I have to*

I finally managed to pack all the luggage for us. Ya know, it's pretty hard to pack for 2-3 people and try to figure out what you will need for a month (or two) in a different country. If that's not hard enough, I have to fit all this stuff, that I think we will need, into 6 bags than can be no more than 70 pounds each. I feel like I'm forgetting something. We've known about this move since May. In my defense for my procrastination, we weren't supposed to report until October! It's not my fault we were moved up a whole month! On the bright side, we will be there before the Munchkin™ starts school, my first Radler in 4 years is that much closer, I can go ahead and start school next month and , of course, Oktoberfest!!! Not that we'll make it to Munich for the big shin-dig but there are all kinds of festivals around Bad Windsheim and Nuremburg for us to venture out and see. I'm so excited for the Christmas Markets and the possibility for more then just a "dusting" of snow.

I'm ready for this.....

I'm ready to go back to Austria and fall in love with this view all over again!

Oh! We'll be back in time for Halloween!
The Munchkin™'s first Halloween...

You shall now be subjected to endure a few picture from our first tour to Germany and some of our outings! Muuuuaaahhhhahahahahaha! Nah, you'll love it!

On our drive to Italy, castles would just pop up out of nowhere! Beautiful!

I can't remember where this house was but I wanted it!

We went to the Black Forrest to see the waterfalls.

The Munchkin™ wasn't impressed.....

My first German snow!!

Okay, so I added a few more pictures than I intended but I forgot about all of these!

Hello!!

Well, at the request of a few who are envious of my future travels, I've created a blog. *cough* You know who you are....*cough*

If anyone would happen to venture here that didn't know me, let me tell you who I am.

My name is Jessica. I come from a small town in Mississippi and I am sincerely proud to call Mississippi my "home". Thanks to the US Army, I've lived in Germany and Ft. Campbell, KY. Which brings me to my next tid bit of information.

I've been married to The Goof™ for almost 7 years. He has been in the Army for over 10 years and hopefully, he will decide to make it a career. I enjoy the "Army Life". It has given us the opportunity to travel the world and see new things. For instance, we lived in Germany from 2006 to 2009. We traveled around Germany, Austria and even made our way to Italy! We did bring back a souvenir from our tour there.
Pretty precious cargo, if I do say so myself.  The Munchkin™ is 5 years old and will be turning 6 in November. She starts Kindergarten on me this year. *I have NO idea where the time has gone :( * She is the most caring, outgoing, polite, kind hearted and just freakin' hilarious kid that I've ever known. She is a HUGE talker. Pretty sure she just talk to hear herself talk. My Grandmother actually gave her a pretty fitting name......Mouth™. Beyond fitting at times. Like yesterday when she was playing Mario Kart in her room and we hear "What the h*ll?!" come from her room. Okay, Mom and Dad should REALLY watch what we say and I blame this more on The Goof™ than myself  :D
This handsome man is Buddy. My absolute best friend. I've had quite a few pets in my 26 years but this dude is tied with a dog that my Daddy and I had when I was young. Best 2 dogs EVER. He melts my heart every time I see him. Let me come in the house after being gone for 5 minutes or 7 hours, he meets me at the door. Most times, I have to brace myself because he is a hugger. To be 8 years old, he is so full of life and eager to please.

***********************************************************

So, you know about me and my little family. What else should I tell you? Hmmmm.....I guess I should explain the name of this lovely blog. I use the name "OceanGrey" because it's the color of my car, Bertha *yes...I name my cars. Always have, always will.*. Plus, we are moving back to Germany in 11 days! Therefore, Ocean, will be Overseas! Going back to the same little post we were at last time. I'm glad that I know the area but I know I'll get over there and wish sometimes that we would have gotten a bigger post. Oh well! Bring on the schnitzel, beer, Christmas Markets and TONS of pictures! Maybe, we will bring back another awesome souvenir!! Hopefully.

I'll share pictures of our travels, funny things The Munchkin™ says or does and just about random stuff so I can, mainly, document this exciting adventure in our lives!
